my main gripe about loads of sonic boom fan comics is that you could be using team cybonic here. team cybonic could be here. you could use team cybonic

Team Cybonic -> Cyborg Sonic -> CYAN

I always thought swapping the red and brown for a fully monochrome look would suit the silver/white on the frame.

Generally, they would still be very similar in many aspects, but Cyan feels like he takes his duty as protector a little more serious than Sonic. He's far less casual around potential trouble.

Ironically, he would be a little more open about his thoughts and emotions compared to his organic counterpart. Growing apart from that trademark persona would take away some pressure of upholding that same image.

He also ends up becoming a total city boy.

[ Bonus: It would be funny if he were voiced by Ryan Drummond, since "Cyan" could be read like a play on Ryan ]

2: If Sonic turns into a Werehog, So Can Cyan , but Mentality

Since he's a robot, he can't transform physically, but going by the werewolf or werebeast in this case. Will still follow the classic moon cycle

The signs go as follows As a full moon draws near

1:His protective nature would be shots up to an 11, thus seeing Roboken as his entire pack. Basically, if you're part of it, you're safe, but if you're an outsider causing trouble, He. Will. Strike. If he did pounce on a pack member, it's mostly on a playful matter or a misunderstanding

2: His sense of smell and hearing would definitely be up to 11 as well. He be smelling you from a mile away. It became pretty useful when rain is about to come.

3: Due to his organic side, his mind became like a non anthemorphic heagehogs mix with Wolf/Dog alittle bit of cat, He might not speak much but still shows affection To those he's close to. He will definitely howl in the night

4: By the end of the night of the full moon, he will sleep for 1 entire day. Mighton usually lets him since he's always so focused on protecting his home

5: He doesn't usually remember these nights, maybe bits and pieces, but he sees him as a strange dream

At first, the team didn't think much of it. But then, after a while, they began to notice this very pattern. So, on one full moon night They decided to investigate and what really goes on In the night

That's when he pounds on to Tech. The rest would have attacked if they didn't see him start licking his head

They were pretty... Perplex When their leader were just making animal noises And wagging his small tail. But he does listen to them Thus getting them to the bunker of their birth

That's when Tech took a deeper look into Sonics/Cyan DNA. That also seems to change from what it previously was. And after some studying in deep investigation. Is when they came across the legend of the werebeast And discovering that there's normally a transformation.

Suffice to say it was easy to connect the dots from there

The only questions they have is Does Sonic know about his transformation? Does this His team know about this? Do they not know? Is Sonic keeping in a secret? it really their place to tell? they just don't know

Regardless of what the answer may be, they did let Cyan know on the following day Thus Finally figuring out what those dreams were.

Since then, they have always kept track of the mooncycle. So that way, he won't miss anything. And to keep anyone from taking advantage of this state.

Team cybonic hcs

Their personalities are somewhere between the boom gang and the modern gang. It’s most noticeable with cysonic and cyamy. Both of them are much chiller than their organic counterparts. Cyknux is still not smart, the only real change is the others respect him more (as a cyborg, cyknux could get more intelligence, but he doesn’t want it and the others understand that judging ppl on intelligence is shitty). Really they’re all just chiller and kinder, unless it’s cysonic and someone’s threatening his friends.

Roboken has a sort of universal mind-link they use for communication. It’s optional in the sense that it’s easy to disconnect and get privacy. Team cybonic has a sort of sub-channel they use, at least when cysticks can handle it.

On that note, it takes cysticks a while to get used to being a cyborg and living with robots. She is not sticks, and only shares some memories and thought patterns with her. But it takes a lot of time and love from her friends to get comfortable.

Robots, at least in Roboken, are nearly all genderqueer. Nearly all of team cybonic is non-binary in some fashion. Cyamy is happily female, but cysonic and cyknux are demimen, cytails is agender, and cystick’s gender is so whack even she doesn’t understand it. They have a lot of fun with neopronouns.

As mentioned, they start very similar to the og boom team, but as time goes on they diverge quite a bit. Sonic runs across them once and is shocked by how “mature” they seem. (He’s never seen them getting into fights over fuzzy puppy lore.)

As per the last statement, they are all so autistic. (There’s other brain stuff too but I’m not educated enough to hc them.)

since shadow isn't going to let anyone pinch and pull one of his quills (whoever attempted that will face punishment) one will need his shedded quills from his bad hair day. who would have attempted such a feat? why, it's eggman, of course. eggman probably treats both sonic and shadow as someone to envy, but is acting as if sonic is his enemy just because sonic just won't accept him, whereas shadow wouldn't accept anyone. and since he already got metal sonic, it's shadow's turn to have a mechanical clone. and now that eggman got some experience in bioscience and saw the dnatech from morristown, he's gonna attempt the cyborg method instead of robot method.

but eggman's lair is on close watch, not only by sticks, but also from roboken. when they found out eggman was appropriating the dnatech and creating another mechanical creature under ownership, they raid into eggman's lair and take the cyshadow incubator. obligatorily, eggman's door has been destroyed. from inertia, eggman bills regular sonic for door repairs, and sonic just doesn't care enough to verify whether it's his doing; another free door repair for eggman.

when cyshadow wakes up for the first time, he immediately gives cysonic an upward punch in stomach. when asked what was that for, he can't give an answer. it was as if it was an instinct. his memories are rather faint, because, let's say that the more time went after shedding, the memories inside the quills fade away. anyhow since that means he doesn't really have any reason to not work with team cybonic, he accepts the invitation to join them.

and now regular sonic is envious of cysonic. he wants shadow in his team but he still hasn't really figured out how to approach him.

regular shadow is annoyed that there's his clone who works with essentially-sonic. but he gives not much more than giving A Look(tm). no harm done so far, and if cyshadow also helps people out in some way without being unskillful at it (unlike sonic), then it's more than good enough for him, for letting him obtain another excuse to diss regular sonic. no, subpar sonic.

in fact, while cyshadow doesn't realize that he's compensating the result of team cybonic up not quite being there to his standards, he does realize that regular sonic is doing subpar job in stuff, especially in crafting. and shadow ends up catching cyshadow flaming regular sonic. now that's a sight he enjoys, and he takes cyshadow for a walk. to gossip about sonic's poor craftsmanship. this is getting old, like how knuckles would claim that the team's named team knuckles and knuckles is the team leader.

So.

We all know Cyborg Sonic, along with the rest of Team Cybonic, were created to be perfect duplicates of the organic Team Sonic; down to every last detail, they are "twins" to Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Sticks, even their personalities match - and I believe even their way of life would be the same. Literally no difference.

Can you even imagine what would happen if Team Cybonic just tried to be "themselves" instead being duplicates of Team Sonic?

There is no possible way their AI would allow them to act outside of how they were made to act. imo

And what on Bygone Island caused Cyborg Sonic to keel over and start quetsioning his entire existence? Someone with half the brain asked the million dollar question: Who are YOU?

And Cy-Sonic couldn't answer. His AI is telling him that he is Sonic, but is that really his answer?

copy-pasted from my discord DMs Canonically, as we known, Cyborg Sonic does freeze up and basically have “.Exe not responding” moments when he encounters something his AI cannot compute.

Now imagine that, but so much worse.

Instead of freezing up and saying does not compute, Cyborg Sonic just falls to his knees, clutching his head, eyes glitching in and out of consciousness as he tries to answer the question “who are you?” And his AI can’t answer because he’s Sonic but who is he really?

Is he a person or is he just another Sonic, with no purpose other than being just a copy of Sonic?

Does he have freedom? Does he have a choice? If he truly wanted to be his own person, can he even be himself?

Is he thinking for himself, or is he just an extension of Sonic’s will? Are his emotions and actions his own? Is he even real?

He doesn’t know.

And I'm afraid he will never have an answer. He's stuck in this perpetual conflict between who he thinks he is and who he wants to be.

Hi! I was wondering if you had any headcanons for the bots' fears/phobias? Specifically TFP

The only one I have is that Bumblebee is, ironically, afraid of bees for no reason other than I thought it would be funny. I'd like to hear your takes!

Hmm I think their fears would go something like this:

Arcee: Terrified of blood.

She's seen too much energon over the course of her long life. Watching so many good mecha die and losing both her partners has left her with a strange apathy to energon. She's grown used to it. But blood? Human blood is vibrant and so different and yet so similar. When she sees blood, it ignites old horrors and memories she's long tried to suppress. Her servos shake when one of the children ends up getting a cut large enough for her to notice. It's all too similar for her to handle.

Bulkhead: Afraid of Deep Water

Bulkhead is a big mech, one lacking in serious dexterity. He's a combat and manual labor unit and he knows it. When he was young, he fell into a solvent pool, and while unharmed, he was so heavy that he couldn't get out on his own. He was trapped there for almost a whole cycle, and now that he knows what lurks in Earth's waters, he's terrified of falling in and possibly being crushed to death by either the pressure or something that lurks in the deep. He hasn't fallen in any deep water yet, but he's terrified that it may happen and much prefers the desert.

Bumblebee: Scared of Being Alone

The fear of being alone stemmed all the way back from Bumblebee's sparklinghood. Growing up in a time of war meant that he was often left to his own devices cooped up in a base or safehouse while the grown mechs went off to war. He came to despise being left alone, and so joined the war effort both to help and to be with them. The fear of being alone only grew after he lost his voice to Megatron. When he's alone, he sometimes hears the Warlord taunting him. This can lead him to spiral badly, and so he relies heavily on others for support. This is part of the reason he bonded so well with the children.

Ratchet: Paranoid of Biological Agents

Being a Doctor, Ratchet has seen many things. Not a lot bothers him anymore, save for scraplets. But in his mind, that's not even a fear. It's common sense. But with that said, the Cybonic plague awoke in Ratchet a fear he'd never realized lurked within him. After that great plague, he now fears biological agents above all else. Not necessarily germs, but anything that could become a weapon of war. Contaminated items especially. In that regard, he is an increadible germaphobe when it comes to his supplies and will grow frantic if anything is brought into his medical bay that reeks of disease.

Ultra Magnus: Fear of the Dark

Being inside the Magnus armor means that Ultra Magnus, or perhaps Minimus, is entirely reliant on the armor's optical systems to see. The fear of the dark developed the first time he lost his sight and was completely incapable of maneuvering the armor, effectively leaving him open to any and all attacks since he couldn't use his personal field or even his senses to navigate. He has told no one about his fear, but when the lights go out, he often panics and instinctually enters a state of fight or flight out of a pure primal fear that something may harm him even within his armor. The team doesn't understand. Only Optimus knows why Ultra Magnus goes to recharge with a nightlight.

Smokescreen: Frightened by Fires

Smokescreen's fear stems from his time in the Archive. It is a new fear, one he has not fully realized. But seeing Iacon burning and the Archive coming down around him, destroying the home he'd known for so long... it changed him. At the time he was too busy being enthralled in the thrill of potential battle to care. But now, whenever he sees fire in close proximity, he automatically flies into a combat position, often lashing out at the first thing that moves simply because he associates fire with foes. Anything greater than a candle unsettles him.

Wheeljack: Unsettled by Connections

He doesn't talk about it. Ever. However, from what Bulkhead knows, Wheeljack got very attached to his ragtag family back when he was young and promptly lost them all one at a time. He tried to get attached to fellow workers before the war, but every connection fell through. Now he doesn't bother and actively flees anything that could feel like it weighs him down. He's scared of caring enough to actually cry when someone dies. Bulkhead is a rare exception to his rule of no connection, and it is simply because Bulkhead has lasted this long and all but demanded friendship.

Optimus: Petrified of Being Lost

The fear began when he was still Orion Pax. At the time, he got lost almost every time he travelled, and often, he ended up in frightening back alleys and dangerous situations. The fear evolved after he became Prime and now Optimus does not fear being lost in his journeys. Rather, he fears becoming lost within the grasp of the Matrix and the madness of war. It is such a real fear that often, Optimus will throw himself into days long studies after patrols, reviewing everything he knows about Cybertron and the corruption of the Council just so he can reaffirm who he is.

Just so he won't lose himself to the tempting thought of letting go of his morality.

Team Cybonic -> Cyborg Amy -> ROSETTE

Rosette is the most drastic change among the cyborgs. Ironically, she loosens up much more compared to Amy, accentuating her energetic nature.

She sort of slowly stumbles into the rock scene and eventually makes quite a name for herself, often performing together with Cyan or touring artists. Her baking hobby is kinda substituted with metallurgy, usually keeping her out in the field and in forges.

She's also one of the few cyborgs to wear actual clothes, both for fashion and because she otherwise feels nude with nothing but her metal plating.

Team Cybonic Headcanon

Despite them living in the city, they're still okay with nature. Seeing the luscious jungle to the calm beaches, it relaxing and colorful

It's a debate if they consider team Sonic as older Siblings or twins because they were made way after they were built, but they are mentally the same age. But Tails did make them along with Bolts, so...

With that being said, they do see Bolts as a Father figure of sorts. Mighton might be considered an Uncle/Father's figure as well

They save many Eggbots as they can because they realize that not all eggbots like to fight them. In fact, a lot of them go against their programming because they don't want to fight anymore, so they take them to the city for protection

They also try giving this opportunity to the Big Bots, Orbot, and Cubot, but they denied the hand for one reason or another, but the Offer still stands

It is unknown why the Cubot Prototypes left they just left one day with a word, leaving only 2 behind

Rapidfire

Rapidfire hasn’t heard of the plague before but by the looks of it.

It’s all bad.

She knows that with her size sneaking onto the Nemesis is not an option and choses to stay on base.

She helps Optimus move from place to place.

Thanks to her frame it isn’t a problem.

Rapidfire holding Optimus by the waist gently placing him down on the med slab.

“Okay Optimus, we’re going to set you down on the med slab. Here, nice and easy.”--Rapidfire

Rapidfire gently places the Prime on the slab.

“Ratchet said you shouldn’t be moving anymore, so if you need anything I’ll bring it to you! Just tell me what you need.”--Rapidfire

Optimus nods slowly.

Is distraught seeing one of her father figures like this.

She already lost one and she is not ready to lose another.

Constantly holding Optimus servo and gently patting his shoulder telling him to keep hanging in there.

Rapidfire hugs Arcee and Bumblebee as soon as they come out from the groundbrigde.

“Oh thank the Allspark you guys are okay!”--Rapidfire

She tries her best in helping Ratchet with the medicine but has to leave to make sure not to complicate things.

Acts as Prime crutch while he gets better.

Ophelia

Ophelia feels her energon run cold when she hears about the familiar plague.

Is immediately by Prime side holding his servo tightly.

Ratchet does ask if she knows about the cure for the plague.

Ophelia doesn’t know anything about the cure.

She was never given medical records to archive and Megatron was the only one with access to that information.

She can also tell there is some more tension on base with the others knowing her past with the Cons.

That’s why she volunteers to go with Arcee and Bumblebee to get the cure.

“Absoluetly not.”--Ratchet

“Ratchet I need to go—”--Ophelia

“So, you can escape?”--Arcee

“BEEP! (Arcee!)”--Bumblebee

“No, I get it that you think I’d go right back to the ship. But right now, right now I’m your best chance to find that cure inside the computers on that ship. I’ve been archiving in there since the Decepticon’s got a hold of it. If anyone here can find that cure, its me.”--Ophelia

“But—”--Ratchet

“Do you think I want Optimus to suffer like this!?”--Ophelia

“…”—Everyone

Ophelia lightly squeezes Optimus servo.

“I’m sorry… but I don’t want him to die… not like this… please, let me go.”--Ophelia

“…Let her go with you and Bumblebee.”--Ratchet

Arcee looks at the determined minibot and sighs.

“Let’s go.”--Arcee

Ophelia is hit with so many flashbacks as soon as she sets pede in the ship.

She shakingly pushes it down and leads the others to the med bay.

Ophelia freezes at the sight of Megatron’s battered frame in the med bay.

Bee and Arcee have to drag her from the spot on the floor.

Ophelia shakes a bit before trying to get on the console.

It was eventually deduced that the best way to get the cure was to use the psych link.

“You’re going to what?”--Arcee

“I’m going to go with Bee into Megatron’s mind.”--Ophelia

“And why?”--Arcee

“Because there is no way I’m letting him into Megatron’s mind alone.”—Ophelia

Ophelia and Arcee stare at each other for a bit before sighing.

“Let’s get this over with.”--Arcee

“Agreed.”--Ophelia

Ophelia is on Bee’s shoulder as they trek through the landscape.

Then some in the holograms of Optimus and Bee with Mind Megatron slicing them.

Ophelia and Bee try to get Megs to tell them about the medicine.

Megatron immediately tries to slice Bumblebee.

Ophelia screams seeing the blade coming towards them.

Bee quickly holds her close trying to protect her from the swing.

The blade doesn’t hit them, instead it goes right through like if they were ghosts or holograms.

Ophelia is trembling in Bees arms with fear in her optics.

Megatron pauses and looks at them curiously.

That is when he puts two and two together.

Megatron demands to know why they are there.

Bumblebee tells him that they need the cure for the plague.

Megtron turns to Ophelia and asks who.

Ophelia doesn’t speak.

Megatron figures out that it’s Optimus and laughs before flashing the cure.

Ratchet and Ophelia managed to take a picture of it.

Now was the time to go.

Megatron turns to Ophelia.

“You never answered me, Ophelia. Why are you here and helping an Autobot no less?”--Megatron

“It does not concern you anymore Megatron.”--Ophelia

“I believe it does if you had to team up with the enemy to get this cure to heal our enemy.”--Megatron

“He is your enemy. Not mine.”--Ophelia

“As future leader of the Decepticons, Optimus Prime will forever be you enemy just like the soon to be dead scout once I get out.”--Megatron

Ophelia clenches her servos.

“You WILL not touch him or Optimus.”--Ophelia

“Don’t speak to your father like that!”--Megatron

“FATHER?! FATHER!”--Ophelia

Ophelia leaps out of Bumblebees arms standing her ground.

Ophelia screams as the blade was about to make contact with her spark chamber when she disappeared.

Ophelia wakes up from the link groggy and is slug over Bee shoulder running with Arcee into the groundbrigde.

Ophelia and Ratchet set straight to work trying to decipher and get the treatment into Optimus as soon as possible.

Ophelia nearly cries seeing Optimus open his optics without pain.

She clings to him like a leach.

Bee tells the others what happened in there.

Ophelia’s place in the team has been cemented.

She is an Autobot and no one will question her loyalties anymore.

Optimus Prime in my AU [TFWF] Transformers War Forged

I am so sick and tired of him coming back to life.. in this universe he dies by Hook.. and doesn't come back.... FOR GOOD.. he is dead..

STORY BEHIND MY AU:

Transformers warforged is an AU created with my friends the main villain is a character named Hook. They work for Unicron and are way worse than Megatron will ever be.. the character Hook belongs to my friend, and they speak Spanish. They also work with biochemical, and use diseases against.. I have my own homemade faction in this, called a Calamaton (a bit that is in the faction is a mix between good and evil and are unpredictable, just depends on the bot.. Now there are a lot of rogue Calamatons, but there is one group of Calamatons that stick out like a sore thumb unlike the rest, Heapcreak, Springlock and Wither are all Calamatons.. Heapcreak is the leader he is tough and doesn't back down easily, Springlock loves bombs and explosives, kind of just think of a male robot version of Harley Quinn.. and Wither is a cannibal.. So basically in a nutshell they are freaks.. but they are trusted by the Autobots. They are eventually infected with the Cybonic Plague, and only Megatron can cure it.. In this universe Megatron is good.. and because he abandoned the Decepticon cause Starscream took lead.. Megatron actually witnessed Optimus Prime's death.. and afterHook Left the murder scene, Optimus was hanging on by a thread.. Megatron ran over crying. Trying to understand what happened, and who that was.. but Optimus was barely hanging on in his few moments. He said a few personal things to Megatron, telling him he loved him (yes it is Megatron x Optimus) Optimus weakly opened his chest hatch and carefully gave him the matrix of leadership.. and told him "Take care of this for me.." as he slowly died in Megatron's arms.. Megatron went back to the Autobot base that day.. he told the Autobots that he found them dying.. and he had no idea who had killed him.. He had never seen that bot in his life.. Bumblebee was devastated because in this universe he is Optimus Prime's son.. He became very sad but Megatron and Ultra Magnus tried their best to take care of him.. (After Optimus died he started feeling some feelings for Ultra Magnus after awhile) Everyone on the Autobot team was devastated.. but they all knew that Optimus chose Megatron for a reason so they couldn't argue with that..

Hook actually has a team of his own, although he is more of a lone wolf, There are other bots that work for Unicron.. later there is a bot named Valkai also known as son of Primus, summoned by Primus himself to specifically help rid of Hook..

02:04 - It’s confirmed by this- if Optimus was to be bot in an apocalypse, he would let the group know. Also a slight detail I like is that Optimus goes to touch his eye, but doesn’t, knowing he’ll probably make it worse.

And that was Sick Mind!

Honestly I enjoy that episode a lot! And watching it right after predatory makes the episode even better!

The episode fleshes/metals (I’m so funny) out a lot of the characters and the impact Optimus has on their lives and how far some may go, especially Bumblebee. I also think that the episode does some justice for Megatron, showing that he's not pure evil and will listen to reasoning, and there’s a progress between him and Bee where he gradually shows Bee more respect, although the dynamic was short lived, it was still very refreshing.

The episode also sets up that Bee is really good with communication (despite the barrier) and persuasion, using what he knew about Megatron to get the cure.

Genuinely a great episode 10/10.
